It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Benedicte Federspiel, a long-standing member of the TACD community and a pioneering advocate for consumer rights in Denmark, Europe and beyond.

Benedicte spent her career fighting for a fairer society, dedicating decades of service to protecting and promoting the interests of consumers. As a senior representative of Forbrugerrådet Tænk, and an active contributor to the work of both TACD and BEUC, she was a passionate and principled voice in European and transatlantic consumer advocacy.

Her contributions to TACD were especially valued — her deep expertise, integrity, and unwavering commitment made a lasting impact on our network and on consumer policy across borders.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Benedicte’s family, friends, and colleagues. She will be remembered with admiration and gratitude.
