Ann-Katrin Hamacher is a policy officer for International Trade at the Federation of German Consumer Organisations (vzbv). She specialises in advocating for a consumer-friendly and sustainable trade policy to ensure that trade agreements deliver concrete advantages for consumers. Her work covers free trade agreements, direct imports to the European Customs Union, sustainability and supply chains, and the relationship between the US and the EU. Before joining vzbv, she worked as a lawyer at an international law firm.
